Dimensions
Lengths range from 500mm to 3900mm (length), and all boards are approximately 225mm (width) and 37mm (depth).

End bands
Standard sizes feature end bands. Standard sizes commonly include 1.5m, 2m, 2.4m, 3m and 3.9m. Other lengths will not include end bands, but may feature a band on one end. If you require end bands there is an additional cost, so please include this in your enquiry.

TYPES AVAILABLE

B-grade scaffold boards, machine sanded – £6.60 per metre

• BEFORE YOU VISIT OUR TIMBER YARD: If you’re looking for quantities of more than 10-15 boards you’ll need to make an order. This is because we can’t guarantee stock levels in the Bay F retail space for you to purchase on the day.
• These boards have been put through our sanding machine and any large rough edges/splints have been removed.
• They feature light marks, discolouration and occasional distortion to the metal end bands.
• Ideal for projects where a finish or full sand isn’t required, e.g. building your own raised beds.

B-grade scaffold boards – £4.95 per metre

• These boards are raw and un-sanded.
• They feature a wide range of marks (including paint marks), discolouration and distortion to the metal end bands
• BULK DISCOUNT – 50no. 2.4m B-grade scaffold boards : £594 (stickered and in good condition)

C-grade scaffold boards – £6 per board (limited availability)
(various lengths of up to 3.9m, only available to purchase in the timber yard)

• These boards are raw and un-sanded.
• They feature heavy marks and various defects including mould and cobwebbing.
• They often have large chunks removed and end bands are usually distorted/completely broken.

Clearance Bale of Scaffold Boards

• Mixed Bale of 50 scaffold boards: £50.
• Mixed Bale of 100 scaffold boards: £100.
• The lengths of each board varies. The boards are ungraded, unsorted and features rot.
• As these are clearance bales, no specific sizes can be requested. Sizes range from 1.2m-3.9m. These are ideal for gardening and firewood.
• If you are interested, please contact us. Please note we would require 1 week to get the bale of boards ready.

Finished scaffold boards

• B-grade reclaimed scaffold boards which have been carefully sanded and finished by our team of woodworkers and volunteers.
• You can purchase smooth boards (no finish at all) or your choice of clear, light, medium or dark stain using our Boards & Shelves Calculator.

Purchases of over 200 slats are eligible for discounts of up to 25% off.

The widths of pallet slats vary due to the wide range of pallets we receive. Generally the slats are 80-120mm wide.

Staves – £1.50-2.50 each

Lengths and widths commonly between 900-1300mm and 60-150mm. Wider staves are available in more limited quantities.

Lids – £10

Very limited quantities available as this component tends to break apart once the barrel is deconstructed.

Bands – £2 each

Diameters vary between 600-1000mm depending on the size of the barrel. Visit us to see what’s available.

In the Bay F timber yard you’ll find a range of raw and dressed hardwoods, both cut and live edge. Oak, beech, sycamore, larch and elm are the most frequent varieties we receive. Limited availability of other varieties.
