Our wooden worktops are handmade from ex-scaffold boards by our talented team of woodworkers and volunteers. They’re a timeless, unique and eco-friendly option for a huge range of kitchens, workspaces and utility rooms. With a simple style, they work well in both modern and traditional settings.

Thes countertops make use of the 37mm depth of the reclaimed scaffold boards. This means they provide a more affordable, substantial and sustainable alternative to thinner wood composites which are available on the market. By purchasing our ex-scaffold board products, you’re helping to keep more quality timber in use. And you’re also helping us to keep provide volunteering opportunities to people in the local community.

Our countertops come in 1m incriments up to 3m. If it’s longer or different lengths you’re looking for please chat to us about a bespoke order by using the enquiry form above. Like our dining tables calculator, we’re also able to fabricate wider tops to suit deeper units. All of our tops are carefully finished by our team of volunteers and woodworkers. Choose from your choice of 6 finishes, suiting a huge range of styles and spaces.

Finishes

Including smooth, clear, light, medium or dark stain (indoor or outdoor), or a colour – you’ll be able to find the best option to suit your space. We use Loxkin for all our natural wood finishes, and Osmo for our coloured options because of their high environmental standards. Head to our finishes page to learn more. We’re also a Loxkin stockist, so please visit our retail space to view the range and speak to the team about ordering in what you require.

Colour Disclaimer

Colour, grain, knotting, scarring, lettering and the odd paint mark are all natural characteristics of our reclaimed board products due to the nature of wood. As a result, every item will appear slightly different. If you require matching items, we’d recommend ordering together and specifying what you’d like to ensure as close a match as possible.

Everyone’s screen is different, which also affects the finish colours you see. We try to edit our photos to show the samples as life-like as possible, but we cannot guarantee the colour you see accurately portrays what your final purchase may look like.

If there are specific characteristics you’d like your product to have, please provide these details (along with your desired finish type) in the customisation section.
