Coll & Tiree Companion Chairs

The Coll & Tiree Companion Chairs are a charming double seat that comprises of two armchairs and a rdetachable table-top component. Simple and timeless in design, this is a versatile outdoor seating option for when space is limited needs to be multi-functional. Handmade in Glasgow in our South Street workshop entirely from reclaimed scaffold boards, you can guarantee no two pieces will be the same.

Featuring a detachable table-top component, the outdoor seats can be separated with ease and used as individual chairs. When purchased as a complete set, you’ll also receive detachable arm components to replace the connecting table-top. When purchased as an individual chair, both arms will be fixed.

Carefully finished by our team of woodworkers with the support of our volunteers, all rough edges are sanded away before being finished with a coat of our UV outdoor protection. With correct maintenance and storage this is a long-lasting and stylish alternative to off-the-shelf garden furniture.

Possessing all the character from the original reclaimed scaffold boards, you’ll see a whole range of markings, tones, colours and paint marks on each piece. As a result very single one of our Coll & Tiree chairs are completely different! Finishes

Including smooth, clear, light, medium or dark stain (indoor or outdoor), or a colour – you’ll be able to find the best option to suit your space. We use Loxkin for all our natural wood finishes, and Osmo for our coloured options because of their high environmental standards. Head to our finishes page to learn more. Colour Disclaimer

Colour, grain, knotting, scarring, lettering and the odd paint mark are all natural characteristics of our reclaimed board products due to the nature of wood. As a result, every item will appear slightly different. If you require matching items, we’d recommend ordering together and specifying what you’d like to ensure as close a match as possible.

Everyone’s screen is different, which also affects the finish colours you see. We try to edit our photos to show the samples as life-like as possible, but we cannot guarantee the colour you see accurately portrays what your final purchase may look like.
