We offer a cutting service on timber both purchased from us and your own. Please note that we cannot cut/rip all types and dimensions of timber. Use the enquiry form below to check with us if you’re unsure.

Cross cuts (across the width) – £1 per cut

This service is available on the day on pieces no wider than 300mm on up to 10 pieces. Please bear with us on Saturday’s and busier days.

For anything wider than 300mm, there is a 3-5 working day lead time. Please use the enquiry form below to arrange this.

Rip cuts (down the length) – £5 per cut

Under normal circumstances, this service is not available on the day. To use this service it’s a 3-5 working day. For anything urgent, we’d recommend enquiring using the form below and we’ll see what we can do.

• Large quantities – if you’re looking for quantities of more than 10-15 boards (particularly 3.9m) you’ll need to enquire in advance. This is because we can’t guarantee stock levels in the Bay F retail space for you to purchase on the day.

Staves – £2-1

Short (£1) and long (£2) staves available. Lengths and widths commonly between 900-1300mm and 60-150mm. Wide staves are available in more limited quantities.

Lids – £10 each

Very limited quantities available as this component tends to break apart once the barrel is deconstructed.

Bands – £2 each

Diameters vary between 600-1000mm depending on the size of the barrel. Visit us to see what’s available.

In the Bay F timber yard you’ll find a range of raw and dressed hardwoods, both cut and live edge. Oak, beech, sycamore, larch and elm are the most frequent varieties we receive. Limited availability of other varieties.

Everything is individually priced according to quality, size and variety. We recommend visiting our retail space to select the pieces you’re looking for.

In the Bay F timber yard we have a wide ranging and limited stock of reclaimed sheet materials including MDF, ply wood and OSB.

Sizes vary widely from 20cm right up to full sheets measuring 2.4×1.2m. Conditions also vary widely. Larger stocks will be shared via Facebook and Instagram.
