Secret storage that can hold anything and everything! With guidance from our experienced woodworkers, you’ll learn the basics of woodworking and create a unique piece of furniture to take home with you.

Learn how to build your very own Mini Campsie Coffee Table in this day-long woodworking session.
Originally designed and build as a bespoke order for Brian who runs Auchgoyle Bay Cottages, this piece is actually a variation of our classic Campsie Chest, just 2/3rds the length. And due to popular demand, we decided to add this as a workshop!
The session begins with a welcome and introduction, giving you the chance to meet fellow participants and familiarise yourself with the workshop space. Then, one of our woodworkers will guide you through the process of building your very own coffee table.
From start to finish, they’ll demonstrate every step which goes into transforming a pile of reclaimed scaffold boards into a finished product. There’ll be a break for lunch half way and at the end you’ll be able to take the bench away with you.
You’ll finish your piece with a smooth, sanded finish. Tins of oil will also be available to purchase at the end of the session if you’d like to finish your table at home. We highly recommend this step to protect the timber and help it last for years to come. Don’t worry, the woodworker leading the session will demonstrate this – it’s surprisingly very easy!
Support will be available throughout, whether you’re a complete beginner or have previous woodworking experience.

Delivery
We aim to get your order to you as quickly and efficiently as humanly possible. Most of our orders should be delivered within 1-4 days of dispatch from our workshop, depending on the delivery method. Please note that larger pieces of furniture will be delivered assembled unless you request that they be delivered flat packed. Visit our FAQ’s page for more information on this.
Throughout Scotland, we fulfil most deliveries ourselves, but also use a handful of carefully selected couriers based on availability, the size of your order and your location.
Once your order has been placed and is ready to be delivered, we’ll contact you to arrange delivery. This is different from your due date. See our delivery FAQ’s for more information.
Stock Products
Our standard stock products, no matter which finish you choose, we aim for them to be ready for delivery or collection within 5-40 working days (1-8 weeks) after the date of order. Each item is carefully made by our team of staff and volunteers, so it might take slightly longer compared to our off-the-shelf competitors.
Current lead times
Please note these are estimates and will depend on chosen dimensions and the number of items in your order.
Shelves – 10-15 working days (2-3 weeks)
All other products – 20-40 working days (4-8 weeks)
Delivery options
1. Collect in-store
All orders are available for free collection from our South Street store — simply select collect at the delivery stage and we’ll let you know how and when to pick your order up. PLEASE NOTE: we will only hold your order 28 working days after we’ve notified you that it’s ready to collect.
2. GW Delivery (postcodes within Scotland)
We’re able to deliver to most postcodes throughout Scotland, as long as we have capacity. This includes the Highlands & Islands. Prices start at £25 and are priced based on your postcode and the size of your order. Please tell us at the enquiry stage if this is how you’d like your item/s delivered, and we’ll do our best to arrange this service for you.

3. Courier Delivery
When we don’t have capacity or it’s not cost effective for us to deliver your items, we’ll send them via courier. For postcodes located within Mainland UK, we either use a pallet or parcel courier service. Prices vary widely depending on your location and order size.
Courier service items – PLEASE CONTACT US FOR A PRICE
Tea light holders, scaffold board shelving, planter boxes and other small to medium sized pieces are available for courier delivery. From dispatch, this service generally take 1-3 working days. Upon dispatch, we’ll provide you with tracking information which will give you live delivery updates.
Pallet delivery items – PLEASE CONTACT US FOR A PRICE
Oversized or large quantity orders, trough planters and the Whangie Mirror are examples of products which sit in this category, however there are limitations. These items are delivered via pallet and generally take up to 7 working days to arrive. We will contact you once your order is complete to arrange a delivery slot. Please note that larger pieces of furniture will be delivered assembled unless you request that they be delivered flat packed.
PLEASE NOTE: Where items are delivered by pallet, the couriers are under no obligation to deliver inside your premises. It is therefore your responsibility to transport the goods internally within your property. If you require a two-man service to bring your goods inside your home please ask about this service at the point of order.
3. Postcodes in the Highlands, Islands & Northern Ireland
If your delivery postcode is for Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Islands please provide us with the relevant delivery information when completing the enquiry form and we will be able to provide you with a delivery estimate. Delivery to these areas is likely to take up to 7 working days.
4. European Delivery
This method is possible, please contact us for a delivery estimate.
