The Campsie Chest is a classic, no-fuss storage chest which can also serve as an occasional seat, adding a great finishing touch to your living room, play room, hallway or in that little window nook you have. And with a height similar to our Hoy Coffee Table (450mm and 435mm respectively) it would even suit being placed inside business reception areas.
It’s design is purely functional, featuring basic handles for easy manoeuvrability, flat edges on the lid for comfort and a lid support hinge to prevent over extension and potential damage. With a simplistic and timeless style, this storage chest would comfortably sit within any space. Add a sheepskin fur throw with matching cushions; a pile of books, a candle and a few plants – it’s hard to find a place where this storage unit wouldn’t feel out of place. And that’s not even getting onto it’s primary function!
Internal Dimensions
The Campsie chest is a great solution for organising children’s toys, sorting magazines, books, music, films and games, or even hiding clutter. With approximate internal dimensions of 400mm (width) x 860mm (length) x 360mm (depth), our storage chest is spacious enough for whatever you choose to hide or stow away.
Constructed entirely from recycled timber for that rustic, industrial feel, our Campsie Chest is a sustainable storage solution which will stand the test of time without being bound by interior design trends. Possessing all the character from the original reclaimed scaffold boards, you’ll see a whole range of markings, tones, colours and paint marks on each chest. As a result every single one of our Campsie Chests are completely different!

Including smooth, clear, light, medium or dark stain (indoor or outdoor), or a colour – you’ll be able to find the best option to suit your space. We use Loxkin for all our natural wood finishes, and Osmo for our coloured options because of their high environmental standards. Head to our finishes page to learn more. As a result, every item will appear slightly different. If you require matching items, we’d recommend ordering together and specifying what you’d like to ensure as close a match as possible.

Delivery
With our couriers, we aim to get your order to you as quickly and efficiently as humanly possible. Most of our orders should be delivered within 1-4 days of dispatch from us. We use a handful of carefully selected couriers based on availability, the size of your order and your location.
Stock Products
Our standard stock products, no matter which finish you choose, we aim for them to be ready for delivery or collection within 5-28 working days (1-6 weeks) after the date of order. Each item is carefully made by our team of staff and volunteers, so it might take slightly longer compared to our off-the-shelf competitors.
Delivery locations
1. Collect in-store
All orders are available for free collection from our South Street store — simply select collect at the delivery stage and we’ll let you know how and when to pick your order up. PLEASE NOTE: we will only hold your order 28 working days after we’ve notified you that it’s ready to collect.
2. Postcodes within Mainland UK
For postcodes located within Mainland UK, we either use a pallet or parcel courier service.
Courier service items – PLEASE CONTACT US FOR A PRICE
Tea light holders, scaffold board shelving, planter boxes and other small to medium sized pieces are usually available for courier delivery. From dispatch, this service generally take 1-3 working days. Upon dispatch, we’ll provide you with tracking information which will give you live delivery updates.
Pallet delivery items – PLEASE CONTACT US FOR A PRICE
Oversized or large quantity orders, trough planters and the Whangie Mirror are examples of products which sit in this category, however there are limitations. These items are delivered via pallet and generally take up to 7 working days to arrive. We will contact you once your order is complete to arrange a delivery slot.
PLEASE NOTE: Where items are delivered by pallet, the couriers are under no obligation to deliver inside your premises. It is therefore your responsibility to transport the goods internally within your property. If you require a two-man service to bring your goods inside your home please ask about this service at the point of order.
3. Postcodes in the Highlands, Islands & Northern Ireland
If your delivery postcode is for Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Islands please provide us with the relevant delivery information when completing the enquiry form and we will be able to provide you with a delivery estimate. Delivery to these areas is likely to take up to 7 working days.
