Hardwood Chopping Board
Our wooden chopping boards are handmade using a wide range of locally sourced hardwood. These solid wood boards are all completely unique thanks to the recycled wood, featuring lots of unusual knots and scarring. You’ll never see the same board twice!
Due to the nature of the wood every board will be slightly different in length and width.
All chopping boards are finished with a food-safe oil as standard.
See below for more product information.
Our reclaimed wooden chopping boards are hand crafted from a whole range of hardwoods including (but not limited to) sycamore, oak, beech, elm and ash. Finished with food-safe chopping board oil, these boards are perfect for preparing and serving food in a safe and stylish way. Because of the nature of the recycled wood, each and every serving platter will be completely unique in shape and dimensions. Could there be a better, more affordable and eco-friendly gift for yourself or a loved one?
Every board is carefully sanded by one of our talented woodworkers to remove any sharp or rough corners before being oiled. This oil darkens the wood slightly and allows all the character to shine through. Please view the image gallery to give you an idea of how your board might look.
Colour, grain, knotting and scarring are all natural characteristics of our reclaimed hardwood products due to the nature of wood. As a result, every item will appear slightly different. If you require matching items, we’d recommend ordering together and specifying what you’d like to ensure as close a match as possible.
Everyone’s screens are different which also affects the finish colours you see. We try to edit our photos to show the samples as life-like as possible, but we cannot guarantee the colour you see accurately portrays what your final purchase may look like.
If there are specific characteristics you’d like your product to have, please provide these details (along with your desired finish type) in the customisation section.
