Made from a wide range of reclaimed hardwoods, our solid wood serving platters, cheeseboards and charcuterie boards are full of character from the recycled wood. With cast iron handles and lots of unusual marks, knots and patterns they’d make a beautiful, quality and affordable gift to yourself or a loved one.

Our reclaimed wooden serving platters and cheeseboards are hand crafted from a whole range of hardwoods including (but not limited to) sycamore, oak, beech, elm and ash. Featuring slightly rustic, cast iron handles, these platters are great for display or everyday use, and a beautiful show piece for dinner with guests. Because of the nature of the wood, each and every serving platter will be completely unique in shape and dimensions.

Every board is carefully sanded by one of our talented woodworkers to remove any sharp or rough corners, before being oiled with a food-safe chopping board oil. This oil darkens the wood slightly and allows all the character to shine through. With two sturdy handle options available (plain or with ‘cheeseboard’ engraving) you’ll be able to purchase the platter suitable for it’s final use.

Colour Disclaimer

Colour, grain, knotting and scarring are all natural characteristics of our reclaimed hardwood products due to the nature of wood. As a result, every item will appear slightly different. If you require matching items, we’d recommend ordering together and specifying what you’d like to ensure as close a match as possible.

Everyone’s screens are different which also affects the finish colours you see. We try to edit our photos to show the samples as life-like as possible, but we cannot guarantee the colour you see accurately portrays what your final purchase may look like.

1. Collect in-store

All orders are available for free collection from our South Street store — simply select collect at the delivery stage and we’ll let you know within 5-15 working days how and when to pick your order up. PLEASE NOTE: we will only hold your order 10 working days after we’ve notified you that it’s ready to collect.

2. Postcodes within Mainland UK

For postcodes located within Mainland UK, we either use a pallet or parcel courier service.

With our couriers, we aim to get your order to you as quickly and efficiently as humanly possible. Most of our orders should be delivered within 1-4 days of dispatch from us. We use a handful of carefully selected couriers based on availability, the size of your order and your location.

Our standard stock products, no matter which finish you choose, will generally be dispatched 5-15 working days (1-3 weeks) after the date of order. Each item is carefully made by our team of staff and volunteers, so it might take slightly longer compared to our off-the-shelf competitors.

Tea light holders, scaffold board shelving, planter boxes and other small to medium sized pieces are usually available for courier delivery. From dispatch, this service generally take 1-3 working days. Upon dispatch, we’ll provide you with tracking information which will give you live delivery updates.

Pallet delivery items – PLEASE CONTACT US FOR A PRICE

Oversized or large quantity orders, trough planters and the Whangie Mirror are examples of products which sit in this category, however there are limitations. These items are delivered via pallet and generally take 2-4 working days to arrive. We will contact you once your order is complete to arrange a delivery slot.

PLEASE NOTE: Where items are delivered by pallet, the couriers are under no obligation to deliver inside your premises. It is therefore your responsibility to transport the goods internally within your property. If you require a two-man service to bring your goods inside your home please ask about this service at the point of order.

3. Postcodes in the Higlands, Islands & Northern Ireland

If your delivery postcode is for Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Islands please provide us with the relevant delivery information when completing the enquiry form and we will be able to provide you with a delivery estimate. Delivery to these areas is likely to be 3-5 working days.
